OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Natural Resources dated February 12, 2003, pursuant to

Section 7 of

Chapter 114 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Crown Lands Act, and

Section 13 of

Chapter 504 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Wildlife Act, is pleased to authorize the Minister of Natural Resources on behalf of Her Majesty the Queen in right of the Province of Nova Scotia to: (

a) purchase from Vladi Private Islands Limited, its successors, trustees or assigns: (i)\x09approximately 30.35 hectares (75 acres) at Martinique, Halifax County, for a purchase price of up to $200,000, which land is shown outlined in red on

Schedule "A" attached to and forming part of the report and recommendation; and (ii)\x09approximately 6.7 hectares (16.5 acres) at Terence Bay, Halifax County, for the purchase price of $42,400, which land is shown outlined in red on

Schedule "B" attached to and forming part of the report and recommendation; subject to the condition that Vladi Private Islands Limited be able to certify title to its lands in a manner deemed sufficient by the Department of Justice; and (

b) prepare and have executed such documents as may be required to achieve the purposes of this Order.
