Statute: Peggy's Cove Commission Act

OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Tourism, Culture and Heritage dated February 28, 2008, and pursuant to

Section 4 of

Chapter 339 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Peggy's Cove Commission Act, is pleased to: (

a) reappoint Darrell Fralick of Peggy's Cove, Halifax Regional Municipality, as a member of the Peggy's Cove Commission for a term of two years commencing April 1, 2008; (

b) authorize the payment of $35.00 per half day of attendance at meetings of the Commission; and (

c) order that the Province shall defend, negotiate or settle claims or charges made against the above appointee of the Peggy's Cove Commission, and indemnify him from personal liability in connection with any such claim, provided, however, that the Province is satisfied that the claim arises out of his activities in relation to his appointment, and is not based on fraud or criminal activity, and where the Province so defends him, the Province will be in control of the case.
