An Act to Amend the Procurement Act Her Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of New Brunswick, enacts as fol- lows: 1

Section of the Procurement Act,

chapter of the Acts of New Brunswick, 2012, is amended by adding af- ter subsection 24(3) the following: 24(4) Within days after the end of a fiscal year, the Minister shall make available to the public all procure- ment contracts undertaken during the previous fiscal year in any of the following circumstances: (

a) the contract value is $10,000 or more; (

b) amendments result in a contract being valued at $10,000 or more; or (

c) the total value of consecutive contracts with the same contractor is valued at $10,000 or more within a fiscal year. 2

Section of the Act is amended by adding after paragraph (

x) the following: (x.1) prescribing the format and type of publication to be used to make procurement contracts available to the public; 3 This Act comes into force on a day or days to be fixed by proclamation. PROJET DE LOI Loi modifiant la

Loi sur la passation des marchés publics,

chapitre des Lois du Nouveau-Brunswick de 2012, est modifié par l’adjonction après le paragraphe 24(3) de ce qui suit : 24(4) Dans les jours qui suivent la fin d’un exercice financier, le ministre rend public tous les contrats d’appro- visionnement entrepris durant l’exercice financier précé- dent qui répondent à l’un des critères suivants :

a) la valeur du contrat est d’au moins 10 000 $;

b) la valeur du contrat est passée à au moins 10 000 $ par suite de modifications apportées au contrat;

c) la valeur globale des contrats consécutifs conclus avec le même entrepreneur est d’au moins 10 000 $ pour un même exercice. 2 L’article de la Loi est modifié par l’adjonction après l'alinéa x) de ce qui suit : x.1) prescrire le format et le type de publication à uti- liser pour rendre publics les contrats d’approvisionne- ment; 3 La présente loi entre en vigueur à la date ou aux dates fixées par proclamation.
