OIC Number: 2002 - 430
Date of Order: Sep 19, 2002
Statute: Provincial Finance Act
OIC Text: The Minister of Finance, in his Report and Recommendation dated September 6, 2002, states that the sums appropriated by the Legislature to defray expenditures for the services named and in the amounts listed in Column I in each of the attached Schedules "A", "B", and "C" are insufficient to meet the requirements of such services in the 2000-2001 fiscal year and that additional appropriations in the amounts of, and for the services, listed in Column II in each of the attached Schedules "A", "B" and "C", are required in addition to sums heretofore authorized, according to the accompanying reports of the various Ministers. The Minister of Finance therefore recommends that pursuant to
Section 28 of
Chapter 365 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Provincial Finance Act, such additional sums be appropriated accordingly to be charged to the Current Account for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2001.
