On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council,

orders that the Drug Plans Regulation, B.C. Reg. 73/2015, is amended as set out in the attached Schedule.

Schedule

Section 1 of the Drug Plans Regulation, B.C. Reg. 73/2015, is amended in the definition of "Plan" by striking out " W and X " and substituting " W, X and Z ".

2 Sections 3 (1), 30 (3), 31, 35 (2), 36 (2), 37 (2), 38 (2), 39 (2), 39.1, 39.2 (3), 40 (3) and 41 (2) are amended by striking

out " enroll " wherever it appears and substituting " enrol ".

3 Sections 3 (2), 10, 23 (1), 32, 35 (3), 36 (3), 37 (3), 38, 39 (3), 39.1, 40 (4), 42 (1) and 43 are amended by striking

out " enrollment " wherever it appears and substituting " enrolment ".

Section 4 (4) is amended by adding the following paragraph:

(

g) Plan Z.

5 The heading to Division 2 of

Part 4 is repealed and the following substituted:

Division 2 – Plans C, D, F, P, S, W, X and Z .

Section 40 (4) is amended by striking out " enrolls " and substituting " enrol ".

7 The following

section is added to Division 2 of

Part 4:

Plan Z (Assurance)

40.1

(1) The drug plan known as "Plan Z" is established for the purposes of the Act.

(2) A person is enrolled in Plan Z if the person is a medicare beneficiary.
