This Bill would rename Red Indian
Lake.

AN ACT RESPECTING THE RENAMING OF RED
INDIAN LAKE

Be it enacted by the Lieutenant-Governor and
House of Assembly in Legislative Session convened, as follows:
Short title
1. This
Act may be cited as the Renaming of Red
Indian Lake Act.
Change of name
(1) Notwithstanding the Geographical Names
Board Act , the name "Red Indian Lake" is changed to "Beothuk
Lake".
(2) An A ct, or a
regulation or an order made under
an Act, that contains a reference to
"Red Indian Lake" is amended to refer to "Beothuk Lake".
(3) The validity of any proceedings, agreements,
notices or documents that contain a reference to "Red Indian Lake"
shall not be affected by the change of name.
