CHAPTER

An Act to amend The

Interpretation Act (Assented to June 18, 1991) HER MAJESTY, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of Saskatchewan, enacts as follows:

Short title1 This Act may be cited as The

Interpretation Amendment Act, 1991 . R.S.S. 1978, c.I-11 amended The

Interpretation Act is amended in the manner set forth in this Act. New

section

Section is repealed and the following substituted: Reference aidsA10 In

an Act or regulation: (

a) tables of contents; (

b) marginal notes; (

c) headings; and (

d) references to former Acts or regulations after the end of a

section or schedule; are not part of the Act or regulation, but shall be construed as being inserted for convenience of reference only@. New sections and Sections and are repealed and the following substituted: Citation of legislation includes amendments A18 A citation of or reference to

an Act or regulation is deemed to be a citation of or reference to the Act or regulation as amended from time to time. Citation of legislation of other jurisdictions A19 A citation of or reference to a statute or regulation of another province or territory of Canada or of Canada is deemed to be a citation of or reference to the statute or regulation as amended from time to time@.

Section amended5 Paragraph of subsection 21(1) is repealed. Coming into force6 This Act comes into force on the day of assent.
