Under the authority of

section 257 of the Municipalities Act

and the Subordinate Legislation Revision and Consolidation Act

, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council makes the following Order.

This Order may be cited as the Town of Forteau Order

The boundaries of the Town of

Forteau

are as set out in the Schedule.

Newfoundland

Regulations 646/78 and 204/83 are repealed.

Schedule

Beginning at a point, that point being on the eastern shoreline of

Forteau

Bay

and known as Chimney Head;

Then due west a distance of 600 metres, more or less;

Then north 17 west a distance of 4,200 metres, more or less;

Then north 46 east to the southern shoreline of an unnamed pond a distance of 950 metres, more or less;

Then along the southern shoreline of the aforementioned unnamed pond in a generally northeasterly direction to the intersection of the pond and the western bank of Forteau Brook a distance of approximately 800 metres, more or less;

Then south 78 30' east a distance of 2,400 metres, more or less;

Then due south to the shoreline of Forteau Bay a distance of 2,400 metres, more or less;

All bearings refer to grid north and as with distance given are subject to approximation.
