STANDING COMMITTEE ON CROWN AND CENTRAL AGENCIES STEERING COMMITTEE FIRST REPORT Your steering committee met on Tuesday, May 24, 2016 to consider how to proceed with public hearings for Bill No. 1 — The Crown Corporations Public Ownership Amendment Act, 2016 in accordance with section 5(1) of The Crown Corporations Public Ownership Act. 1. The Standing Committee on Crown and Central Agencies will meet in the māmawapiwin náyati room (Room 8) of the Legislative Building for public hearings as follows: June 8, 2016 — 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

June 9, 2016 — 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. (as deemed necessary by the steering committee) 2. The steering committee recommen ds advertising on the Legislative Assembly of Saskatchewan website, its social media platforms (Twitter and Facebook) , and on the Saskatchewan Legislative Network. 3. The steering committee recommends issuing a province-wide media release. 4. The stee ring committee recommends t he deadline for witnesses t o request an appearance before the committee is 5:00 p.m. on Monday, June 6, 2016. 5.

The steering committee recommends t he deadline for written submissions is 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 9, 2016. 6. Each representative of an organization or individual member of the public shall be given ten minutes to present to the committee followed by ten minutes of questions by committee members.
